Iltatuuli Sweater – knitting pattern (PDF)
The sweater is worked from the top down starting at the back neck. The upper back is worked flat until the underarms. The upper front is then worked flat with neckline shaping until the underarms. The pieces are joined on the same circular needle and the body is then worked in the round. Shoulder seams are sewn together, and the sleeve stitches picked up around the armholes. Sleeves are worked in the round using either the Magic Loop technique or double-pointed needles, starting with short row shaping for the upper sleeves. The neckline ribbing is worked last.
